George Bain’s Celtic Art: the Methods of Construction is a delightfully useful reference, and I would recommend it to anyone who studies or scribes on the subject. To produce this image, I mashed-up the “preface” image in the front and the “finis” image at the end, with a scattering of other references in the book.
